Purearb Ltd. is an arboricultural consultancy company that provides high-quality services to clients throughout the South Island, New Zealand. The principal consultant with Purearb, Martin Andrews, Technical Arborist, has been involved in the arboricultural industry for the past 20 years, during which he has gained a wide range of knowledge in dealing with tree management and the regulation, be that registered significant schedule trees or trees in relation to development.
Who We Are
Martin Andrews is a professional individual with a range of experience both working operationally and management within the field of arboriculture; experiencing a range of roles spanning his 20-year career. As a credited member of the Arboricultural Association, he prides himself on high standards and continued development to ensure he provides the best possible service and technical support on all matters concerning amenity trees.
He has been involved with local government and the private sector dealing with a broad range of tree related issues including tree catalogues and surveys, providing specialist reports, through to carrying out tree hazard assessments using visual tree assessment methods and gaining expertise with a wide range of specialised decay detection equipment. Martin has also been involved with Local Government in the development of tree strategies and policies.

During the past 20 years, a wide range of qualifications have been achieved:
Quantified Tree Risk Assessment Licensed User (QTRA)
As a credited Technician (TechArborA) member of the Arboricultural Association (UK), a mandatory continuous professional development is required to retain the status of TechArborA.
Purearb Limited has achieved SITEWISE GREEN accreditation: SITEWISE is a prequalification system that grades a contractor's health & safety capability.
Diploma in Arboriculture (Dip Arb)
